LA GRANGE AUX AVOINES

bookings

At La Grange aux Avoines we operate a 7-night minimum stay during the holiday season from 1st June to 30th Sept. Outside of this period, we operate a 2 night minimum stay with the exception of the French Public Holiday weekends.
Please call Andy to discuss rates and availability for these dates.

The price for the whole farmhouse, plus exclusive use of swimming pool, for 7 nights is €3150 or €450 a night for 8 people.

The price for the whole barn/grange, plus exclusive use of porcherie and plunge pool, for 7 nights is €5250 or €750 a night for 10 people.

By prior agreement, the barn/grange can take 12 people for an extra supplement of £450 per person.

If the whole complex is rented the price is 7500€ for 7 nights during the summer period for 18 people.

2 night off season rates are 950€ for the farmhouse and 1550€ for the barn/grange.

Guests can arrive from 4pm and are asked to please check out at 10am.

We will discretely appear from time to time, mostly to check on the pools and tend to the garden, and to do your mid-stay maid service. You will, of course, have full use and exclusivity of the house or barn and gardens; we will be staying nearby if we can be of any help.

We are open for guests all year subject to availability.

The owners respectfully request that guests do not smoke inside the premises.

The pools are open from May to October.

booking conditions

Accommodation: Under no circumstances must the number of people in the property exceed the number stated at the time of final payment, except where written permission has been received from the owner. Names and addresses of all guests staying in the property at any time must be advised to us in writing before the holiday commences (this is a requirement in France)

Booking Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the agreed total rental and the signed booking form secures reservation subject to availability. No booking will be confirmed until the booking deposit has been received.

A Refundable Inventory Deposit:  A deposit of €1500 to cover property damage will be requested three weeks prior to commencement of the holiday. This will be used to cover any damage/breakages. Alternatively, this can be paid by bank card upon arrival. No monies will be debited from your account and the transaction will be cancelled at the end of your stay

Final Payment: The full balance is payable eight weeks prior to letting when final particulars will be sent to you.

Covid 19: Our guiding principle is that if our guests are prevented from travelling from the home country or in to France due to Government policy specific to Covid 19, then we will refund 100% of any payments made.

Cancellation by You: Any cancellation by you (for whatever reason) must be in writing (or email provided you have received our acknowledgement of its receipt). The effective date of cancellation is the date we receive written notification. If you cancel more than twelve weeks prior to your arrival date you will lose your deposit whereas if you cancel within 8 weeks of your arrival date, or if the booking is cancelled due to non-payment, we will be entitled to the full rental cost from you. We will endeavour to obtain a replacement letting in either case. In so far as a replacement letting is obtained, we will then refund your balance, less any charges incurred in finding the replacement booking.

Arrival/Departure: In order to achieve the highest standard for your arrival, please note that, unless by negotiation, arrival should be timed for after 4pm, and departures should not be later than 10.00am. Please let us know of your time of arrival to help us organise your welcome and key hand-over.

Cleaning on departure: The house will be cleaned at the end of every stay. Extra charges may also apply if excessive cleaning service is necessary.

Insurance: It is a condition of the let that all guests take out full holiday insurance. Under no circumstances will the owner be responsible for loss of life, personal injury, medical expenses, accidents or forfeited deposits. It is a condition of this agreement that guests shall be covered by adequate insurance for all the above risks.

Force Majeure: We cannot be held liable for any breach of our obligations arising from forces beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: fire, strike, flood, storm, temporary loss of water or electricity supplies. If any such events occur prior to a letting period and are likely to prevent the use of the property we will refund all payments made.

Law: This agreement is subject to French law.
